This posting will be used to fill 1 permanent full-time position working 75 hrs bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon.

Your role

The Home Care scheduler works within a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate the scheduling Home Support services for clients. The scheduler will be required to coordinate new service plans and changes to existing schedules with the clients via telephone. The scheduler will assist Home Support Workers with details about the clients and will direct calls from Home Support Worker’s in the field. Management of fleet vehicles and a variety of other administrative duties will be required. This position reports to the Home Support Supervisors

Essential qualifications

Post-secondary coursework in Office Administration/Business Administration in a health care setting
Experience performing a wide range of office administrative duties
Experience providing service to clients

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
