Appliance Technician – Job Responsibilities:
- Perform in-home repair of major appliances as part of your work day or week by diagnosing and determining the proper repair
- Exercise good communication and listening skills with technicians, customers and office staff, creating a great work environment
- Make use of testing equipment, wiring diagrams / schematics, technical information and common sense to diagnose and repair appliances
- Follow each day’s schedule, arriving at customer’s homes during appointment time frame
- Follow company procedures and values. Integrity is second only to customer service
- Maintain company vehicle, inventory and equipment
Appliance Technician – Requirements:
- Must be in good physical health as position may require lifting, pulling of heavy objects, bending over, sitting, standing, kneeling and often working in small areas. Good balance, flexibility and coordination is important
- We use technology so the candidate must be comfortable to learn and work with iPads, computers and smart phones to access information and complete jobs
- Familiarity with home warranty insurance procedures is a PLUS
- Familiarity with all makes and models of washers, dryers, refrigerators, cooking equipment, and dishwashers a PLUS
- Must have a clear background check, clean drug test and good driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour
