1 to less than 7 months Work setting Rural area Various locations Heritage/historical site Interpretive centre Museum Recreational or cultural centre Tourism Tasks Assist in the research, handling and storage of artifacts Assist with the planning and development of travelling exhibitions and special events Conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions and historical, heritage and other sites, answer inquiries and provide information Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit and in storage Technical experience Interpretation/guiding Area of specialization Cultural Transportation/travel information Public transportation is not available Work conditions and physical capabilities Combination of sitting, standing, walking Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral
