High-Level Teaching Assistant For Primary SchoolAre you an experienced and dedicated educator looking to take on a more advanced role in supporting students’ learning and development? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at primary school and play a key role in enhancing the educational experience of our students.
Responsibilities
Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across the curriculum, with a focus on Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in primary school settings.
Lead small group interventions and support individual students who require additional assistance, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging lessons and learning activities, adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students throughout primary school.
Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and performance, contributing to the assessment and monitoring of student achievement and attainment.
Promote positive behavior management strategies and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students and address any barriers to learning effectively.
Requirements:
Qualified HLTA status or equivalent experience in a similar role within a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning support, including leading small group interventions and providing targeted support to students with SEN and EAL needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents throughout primary school.
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting teaching and learning, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
