Position: Heavy Equipment Hoisting Engineer Operator
The Heavy Equipment Hoisting Engineer Operator position is a skilled position key to the construction processes. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy construction equipment as well as other duties that may be assigned. The job function of Operator specifically includes the knowledge of, and proficiency in the use of excavators, loaders, tractors and backhoe loaders as well as basic materials and tools used in the construction process. To perform this job effectively an individual must have a high level of skill operating a variety of construction equipment in varying terrains and weather conditions. In addition, must be able to maintain equipment quality and control standards, customer relations and be able to adhere to company safety and environmental compliance programs.
Position Requirements
- 3 or more years operating a variety of construction equipment
- Valid Driver’s License
- MA Hoisting License
- DOT Medical Card
- High School/GED preferred
- OSHA 10 (preferred)
