Heavy Duty Mechanic Jobs in Bentley at TR Transport
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining TR Transport fleet of equipment in our Bentley, Alberta location.
Responsibilities:
· Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work
· Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines
· Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices.
· Complete work orders upon completion of each job
· Ensure the shop is maintained and clean
Qualification and Competencies:
· Heavy Duty Mechanic status required
· CVIP Certification Required
· 2-3 years industry experience
· Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver’s license is preferred, Class 5 will be considered
· Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Skilled in problem-solving techniques
· Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
