Seeking a dedicated individual for Environmental Services II. This role focuses on high-quality cleaning and disinfecting in healthcare settings, ensuring safety and compliance with established standards.
As an Environmental Services staff member, you will support cleaning and disinfecting clinical and non-clinical areas within a facility. Your typical duties will include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking essential supplies. You will also handle equipment for floor maintenance and report hazards under your Working Leader’s guidance. Training of staff may also be part of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect patient and public areas
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment effectively
• Restock supplies in bathroom and public facilities
• Report potential hazards to the Working Leader
• Provide training and orientation to other staff
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of computers and smartphones
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push 50 lbs
• Effective communication skills required
• Previous healthcare cleaning experience preferred
