Main Responsibilities
A typical day in this HSE support role blends documentation, field engagement, and continuous communication. The morning often starts with reviewing priorities, gathering safety and environmental data, and preparing reports or audit materials such as COR documentation and evidence packages. Much of the day is spent supporting the development and maintenance of HSE programs—formatting Safe Work and Safe Job Procedures, refreshing existing content, and creating new materials like newsletters, toolbox talks, and safety‑week resources.

Administrative tasks run in parallel, including updating databases, maintaining training and inspection records, and supporting platforms like Go Contractor and the HSE Hub. Field visits add variety, offering opportunities to observe work practices, assist with hazard assessments, participate in incident investigations, and provide radiation safety support. Throughout the day, there’s ongoing collaboration with project teams to ensure compliance with provincial regulations and company standards while helping drive safety awareness across the organization.
