Responsibilities:
– Provide direct care and assistance to resident in a home setting
– Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
– Uphold and advocate for resident rights and dignity
– Assist with medication administration
-mouth suctioning is required
-ability to work with non-verbal young man and able to give quality of life
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living areas and common spaces
– Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist resident with mobility and transfers
– Provide support and assistance to individual and family
Skills:
– Strong communication skills, both Verbal and written in English
– Ability to work effectively in a Family Home Environment
– Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with resident
– Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
– Motivated Person should apply
Please note that previous experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and qualities.
