Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Turf Operations, the Head Turf Crew staff is responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the golf course and driving range. The successful candidate will work well independently, be able to prioritize tasks, have good problem solving skills and must have experience using equipment such as tractors and mowers.
Responsibilities
comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
able to participate in physically demanding jobs
able to follow a schedule and complete duties as assigned
Operation of equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors and chainswas
Works well independently
Adhere to all health and safety protocols
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience with landscaping or outdoor work
Must have previous experience using mowers, tractors and other equipment
Ability to work independently as well as a team
Knowledge of golf course operations considered an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
