Full job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Server to join our team. As the Head Server, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining experience and ensuring exceptional guest service. You will lead a team of servers, coordinate with the kitchen staff, handle cash transactions, and provide excellent customer service.
Duties:
– Supervise and train servers to deliver exceptional guest service
– Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
– Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests
– Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing accurate change
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
– Assist in food preparation as needed
– Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
– Collaborate with management to develop and implement new strategies for improving service quality
Experience:
– Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry preferred
– Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
– Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and cash handling
– Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
