Job Description

As a senior accountant at Summit Tools Company, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial operations of our organization.

You will

be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights. you will collaborate with various departments to uphold the financial integrity and prosperity of Summit Tools Company.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable (A/P) department ,accounts receivable (A/R) department and

inventory management

staff.

Provide

leadership

to junior accounting staff, assigning tasks and facilitating

professional development

.

Maintain precise records by recording journal entries meticulously.

Conduct thorough reconciliations of accounts to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Utilize Excel proficiency to prepare detailed KPI reports, showcasing key performance metrics effectively.

Manage the submission of various taxes including GST, PST, QST, CSST, and EHT, ensuring timely and accurate filings.

Efficiently handle

promotion

claims, verifying eligibility and processing promptly.

Regularly communicate and report progress on assigned tasks to the Controller, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

Skills and Qualifications

Must have

an accounting degree and at least 5 years in managing more than 10 accountant.

Strong

communication skills

required.

Must be

able to follow detailed instructions as well as communicate and correspond in a professional manner in a strong

team environment

.

Excel expert with advanced proficiency, adept at utilizing formulas, functions, and features to analyze financial data

Ability to

maintain systems and processes for entering, creating, storing, and accessing information and documents.

Uses time and resources effectively by planning and scheduling work according to priority and availability of resources

This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, the 5-day work week includes 2 days off per week, Saturday and Sunday
