We are looking for a passionate Barista to join our team at our newest East York location.
This is a full time position.

Have experience working in a fast paced restaurant preparing and managing orders

Duties may include:
Provide high end customer service (customer always comes first)
Establish and cultivate an advisory relationship with customers
Recommend our products/service to customers specific to their needs
Manage partner delivery platforms: Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, Ritual and Door Dash.
Multi Tasking between customers and delivery partner orders.
Manage POS System
Prepare smoothies, acai bowls, hot drinks and other food menu items
Oversee hourly staff (scheduling work hours, training on how to make smoothies, how to clean-up/sanitize)
Work as a team with hourly employees to make the smoothies/take orders/clean-up/sanitize
Manage inventory of frozen fruits/vegetables, oat/almond milks, orange juice, protein powders, chia/flax seeds, peanut butter, cups, lids, straws etc.
Seeking ways to improve kitchen processes and ensure prompt service
Set standards for kitchen cleanliness and ensuring cleaning is done regularly
Tracking kitchen waste and looking for improvements for financial return
Work with sports teams to provide professional experience for team orders (delivery to their dressing room after practices/games)
Maintain the flow of the store, order from head office supplies as needed, and report to the owner weekly.
Skills/Experience:
Starbucks experience will be an asset
Food Handlers Certificate
Experience in restaurant industry is a must
Preferred management experience in restaurant industry
Looking for a team player who works well with others, has a positive attitude and is a great communicator.
Preferably someone who likes smoothies/protein shakes and has a passion for helping sports teams get access to the proper nutrition they need to recover from workouts, games and practices!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.25-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
