GENERAL FUNCTION
The Hardware Designer will contribute to the development of new products and related activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and implements the electronic circuits of new products
Documents the design
Participates in electronic and mechanical design reviews
Works with the low-level software team to bring up electronic boards and battery management algorithms
Develops test plans to ensure production quality
Follows up with Human Ware’s development partners
Oversees product certification work
Ensures the transfer of new products to production
Collaborates with production on product maintenance
Contributes to the execution of Engineering Change Requests
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of experience in circuit design and embedded systems development
Technical skills:
Proficiency in electronic design software (Altium is considered an asset), strong interest in new technologies, as well as knowledge and experience in project management (asset).
Behavioral skills:
Recognized for teamwork and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and high‑pressure environment. Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Structured, dynamic, and autonomous, adaptable to change, rigorous, and driven by innovation.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
