Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Handyman Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry, repair, and maintenance tasks across various construction and restoration projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Execute framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision and attention to detail
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Read lists and follow instructions
- Perform water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration industry services as needed
- Install fixtures, water lines, electrical components (with appropriate experience), and plumbing systems
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling for construction site safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general remodeling projects
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprint reading, metal stud framing, rebar installation, and schematic interpretation
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication machinery
- Ability to perform drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, roofing work, and flooring installation
- Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems (including electrical experience), masonry, tile laying, and fixture installation
- Previous work in restoration or water damage remediation industry is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project demands
