EQUS is seeking a Groundsperson to join our Central Area office in Penhold. In this role you will provide manual assistance to the Vegetation Program.
Duties
- Assist Utility Tree Trimmer/Utility Tree Worker with vegetation removal
- Assist in obtaining landowner consents
- Performing chainsaw and chipper operation under close supervision
- Other duties as required
Review and Approval of Work
This position reports to the Vegetation Leader.
Job Requirements
- Previous vegetation experience is an asset
- Good communication skills
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and a Q air endorsement is considered an asset.
