Groundsman/Climbing Arborist Jobs in Olathe, KS at Frew’s Tree Care
Frew’s Tree Care is seeking to hire another team member for a groundmen or climbing arborist position. Experience isn’t necessary we are able to train the right candidate for the job position. If you enjoy working outdoors in a rewarding and challenging work environment, working in and through all 4 weather seasons in a fast pace work environment, able to continuously move, drag, lift, and carry materials, through out a full work day.
Job duties would include loading and unloading of equipment into trucks daily, performing multiple different tasks once on jobsite dragging and processing brush and logs through wood chipper raking and cleaning job site thoroughly, using back pack blowers.
Opearting hand held equipment, pole pruners, pole saws, chain saws, hedge trimmers, handsaws and hand pruners to prune trees and shrubs on residential and commerical properties.
Running min skid steers and stump grinders, able to or learn to drive truck and trailer combo, assist climbers in trees with rigging limbs and logs safely to the ground ,able to tie various knots in the field.
Able to prune without using spurs setting ropes from ground, able to ascend a rope and work and move through out a trees canopy, we are able to provide on site training for all tree climbing aspects.

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
