Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented beautifully on the plate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on new grilled items or specials
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled foods efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience working in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to foster a positive work environment
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
