About The Role
The Graphic User Interface Designer will play a vital role in transforming technical concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for HVAC and building automation systems. This position involves designing custom graphic interfaces that facilitate ease of use for technicians and end-users at various customer sites. The designer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, web designs, and connecting controller points to these interfaces. Collaboration with on-site technicians, technical teams, and project managers is essential to ensure the interfaces meet project specifications and operational needs. The role requires a proactive approach, creativity, and technical proficiency to support the deployment and ongoing adjustments of these systems throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
- DEP/DEC/College diploma in graphic design, industrial design, mechanical design, or an equivalent field
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Experience in web design and programming
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Strong creative skills and initiative
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom graphic interfaces for HVAC and building automation systems
- Create detailed 3D models and web-based designs to enhance user experience
- Connect controller points to graphic interfaces ensuring seamless integration
- Perform on-site adjustments and collaborate with technicians to optimize system performance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to technicians and customers
- Make iterative modifications based on project requirements and client feedback
- Coordinate with technical and project management teams to ensure timely delivery of designs
- Maintain documentation of design processes and updates throughout project phases
