What You’ll Do

  • Provide safe, evidence-based respiratory care in a supportive learning environment.
  • Support patients in acute and critical care settings, including ICU, Emergency and NICU.
  • Assist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions including ventilation management, oxygen therapy and airway management.
  • Work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in on-the-job training, mentorship and orientation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Recent graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Eligible for Graduate or General registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; ACLS/NALS/PALS an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, clinical judgement and willingness to learn.
