Key Responsibilities
- Operate grading machinery such as motor graders to level and shape surfaces as per engineering plans
- Interpret blueprints and site plans to execute accurate grading works that meet project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and daily inspections on grading equipment to ensure safe operation
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other crew members to maintain project timelines and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy equipment
- Assist with site cleanup and preparation tasks as needed to support overall project objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience operating grading equipment, specifically motor graders, in a construction environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Solid understanding of grading techniques and earthworks processes
- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical stamina to handle demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Relevant heavy equipment operator certification is preferred
