Full job description
Lost Creek Golf Course, located in Beaverbank NS is an 18 hole public golf course seeking an Assistant Superintendent in its grounds maintenance department.
The successful candidate must have:
– Turf management diploma or equivalent experience.
– valid NS pesticide landscape license.
– Experience in irrigation system.
– Ability to communicate effectively
Assistant Functions:
– Able to balance supervision with the “hands on approach” in getting the job done while setting a professional example for staff.
– Working knowledge of pesticide spraying and calibrations.
– assist irrigation repairs and watering
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Morning shift
Overtime
Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
Kinsac, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
