As a German-Speaking Travel Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, stress-free travel experiences. ## Responsibilities: Your Daily Impact
As the primary point of contact for our German-speaking travelers, you will provide essential support, empathy, and expert guidance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Customer Service Excellence: Providing professional, courteous, and high-quality service via phone, email, chat, and social media. You will handle a wide range of inquiries—from simple questions to complex itineraries—always maintaining a positive, helpful attitude.
Booking and Modifications: Assisting passengers with booking new flights, as well as managing modifications, cancellations, and complex rescheduling requests. You will use your sharp attention to detail to ensure all changes are processed accurately.
Travel Expertise & Guidance: Offering up-to-date guidance on destinations, travel advisories, and country-specific visa or customs regulations, becoming a reliable source of information for anxious travelers.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving unexpected travel disruptions to ensure a seamless passenger journey. This includes handling ticketing glitches, luggage claims, and special in-flight service requests.
Internal Collaboration: Working closely with internal departments, including airport operations and flight scheduling teams, to escalate complex cases and secure rapid, efficient resolutions.
Accurate Documentation: Maintaining precise, detailed, and compliant records of all customer interactions, feedback, and solutions provided within our CRM system.
Continuous Learning: Staying updated on evolving international travel regulations, airline policies, and industry trends to provide passengers with the most accurate data.
## Schedule & Work Environment
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Shifts: Rotational shift basis, Monday to Sunday, between 07:00 and 19:00.
Roster: Enjoy a predictable schedule with 2 days off per week, allowing you plenty of time to enjoy the Maltese lifestyle.
## Compensation and Benefits: Your Rewards

Gross Monthly Salary Progression:
1st Month (Training Period): €885.40
Months 2 to 6 (Probationary Period): €1,425.60
From the 7th Month (Post-Probation): €1,596.00
Following an Additional 6 Months (Month 13+): You will receive a structured base salary increase, alongside a performance bonus of €1,540.00.
Additional Financial Incentives:
Language Allowance: Up to €3,000 annually, distributed in your monthly pay checks to reward your C1/C2 German skills.
Performance Bonuses: Up to €2,000 annually, tied directly to achieving specific customer satisfaction (CSAT) and key performance metrics.
