In this position, you will engage with patients while managing administrative and technical tasks for geneticists and counsellors. Essential duties include organizing appointments, tracking test results, and performing risk assessments necessary for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact with patients and stakeholders for appointment coordination
• Perform data entry and pedigree drawing tasks
• Track pending test results and referrals for timely updates
• Assist geneticists in both clinical and administrative duties
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in biology or genetics required
• 1 to 3 years experience in medical genetics preferred
• Knowledge of OnBase, EPIC is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities
