Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Duties
- Lead and supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to coordinate resources effectively.
- Oversee daily site operations, including managing subcontractors, vendors, and labor forces to optimize productivity.
- Monitor safety protocols diligently, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project specifications and facilitate accurate execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections using tools like Ohmmeter and ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage project documentation including progress reports, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and safety records.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software to track project progress, communicate updates, and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with project teams on procurement activities such as HeavyBid for accurate estimating and budgeting.
- Supervise construction site activities related to pipeline installation or other specialized trades as required.
- Ensure all work complies with schematics, technical drawings, and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Experience
- Proven experience as a General Superintendent or similar leadership role in heavy civil or commercial construction projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management processes including scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong background in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to complex construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations involving pipelines or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Skilled in using construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for project coordination.

Pay: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
