Our client Care Systems Services Ltd. was founded in 1992 in beautiful Vernon BC. They offer full-service building operation supports throughout British Columbia and Southern Alberta. Over the past 30 years, they have installed Automated Logic Control systems in hundreds of buildings, and currently hold over 200 Service Contracts. They take pride in continually raising the bar for

customer satisfaction

and service response not only within the company, but in the HVAC and Control industry for the Interior of British Columbia.

As a growing organization and now operating in both Alberta and BC, they are currently looking to add a General Manager to their team. As a newly created role, the responsibilities and scope of this role will evolve as the successful candidate brings their operational

leadership

experience to their organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business management and technical expertise/knowledge in HVAC systems and building automation.

A significant component to the role will be working closely with the

senior leadership

team to manage the organization’s business functions.

Managing budgets and revenue, forecasting, creating systems, reviewing construction contracts, communicating business goals and overseeing functional leaders are key components of the role.

Reporting to the CEO, as the successful candidate, you will have the ability to apply

critical thinking

skills to ensure efficient processes are utilized and that the business’ operational performance adheres to established KPIs and financial targets. Working closely with the

project management

team, you will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate projects according to schedule, specification, and budget.

Applying a coaching and mentoring mindset to your

leadership

style and well as leveraging your   experience strategic and tactical initiatives for a medium to large size company will be instrumental to your success.

You bring estimation and

project management

experience, are adept at monitoring company financial performance, mitigating risk, and maximizing resources to ensure that financial targets are met.

You prioritize safety and have excellent knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards; you are fully committed to delivering high-quality results.

This is a full-time opportunity that comes with an excellent total compensation package.  We anticipate offering the successful candidate an annual base salary of approximately $90,000 to $120,000 dependent upon previous experience and qualifications.  If you are interested in being considered for this
