The Ideal Candidate
This is not an entry-level management role. We are specifically looking for a strategic leader who has multi-unit or high-volume leadership experience. You understand the complexities of managing diverse teams and operational systems, and you possess the business acumen to drive profitability without compromising the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.
- Full P&L responsibility, including labor costs, COGS, and budget forecasting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a management tier and a large front-of-house/back-of-house staff.
- Implement and refine operational systems to ensure consistency across the board.
- Foster a culture of hospitality that aligns with the unique, historic character of German Village.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Restaurant General Management experience.
- Multi-Unit Background: Proven experience managing multiple locations or overseeing an expansive, multi-revenue stream operation is required.
- Leadership: A "lead-by-example" mentality with a focus on staff retention and development.
- Financial Literacy: Deep understanding of restaurant financials and the ability to report on performance metrics.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Columbus/German Village market is a significant plus.
