Duties
- Oversee daily store or business operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and excellent customer experience.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to foster a positive team environment.
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Implement sales strategies and marketing initiatives to boost revenue and expand customer base.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions, cash handling, and reporting purposes.
Skills
- Proven management experience in retail or service industries with supervisory responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Skilled in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development to build strong teams.
- Proficient in retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, and budgeting.
- Experience with inventory management systems and POS technology.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising staff across shifts while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
