Zenetec Collision Centre is hiring a General Manager at our New Thornhill Location

Zenetec Collision Centre is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving Barrie and the surrounding area since 1992. We are a certified collision repair facility that offers high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a General Manager to lead our Thornhill team and oversee the overall shop operations.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing superior customer service to both external customers and the internal team
Ensuring quality control throughout the process to ensure a quality on-time repair
Effectively managing work-in-progress (WIP)
Maintaining standards to meet or exceed production KPIs
Directing the workflow of collision repair to meet or exceed customer expectations and company targets
Adhere to shop budget, and monitoring expenses
Issuing and reviewing work orders with assigned technicians
Entering absences, and approving vacations and time off for all site employees
Reporting technician production hours to OPS Manager each Friday; authorizing and submitting employee worked hours to Controller and OPS Manager to meet weekly payroll deadline
Holding weekly departmental meetings
Holding quarterly 1-2-1 meetings, employee coaching, job performance of all site employees; following 1-2-1 process
Reviewing all pay plan changes with OPS Manager prior to implementation; tracking changes in detail by effective date, to adhere to audit and legal requirements
Leading daily Production Meetings to share key information, set expectations and confirm on-time delivery targets with all site employees
Managing and maintaining repair schedule based on the shop capacity
Managing and maintaining front estimate schedule and batting average to produce adequate workload
Working as part of the team, leading the operations and assigning teamwork through influence, coaching, respect, and strong employee relationships
Leading and mentoring in the execution of an effective repair planning process
Attending and participating in team and company meetings
Holding weekly/monthly review meetings with OPS Manager
Being included in decisions pertaining to production
Ensuring equipment maintenance is provided to maintain production equipment performance
Assisting Appraisers, repair planners, and CSR’s as required
Coaching, Leadership and 1-2-1 process
Willing to attend any and all training programs to enhance performance, ability to travel as needed for training & development, conventions as required
Other duties as assigned. This role will evolve with the business.

Vehicle collision repair process with advanced collision experience and/or knowledge
