PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Labourer will be responsible to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for the successful completion of utility install projects including support of excavating live utilities, utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, excavation of sensitive underground utilities, utility install, and site reinstatement.
· Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas)
· Swamper/Spotter for equipment operators
· Firewatch
· Daylighting by hand
· Prepare and clean up construction sites
· Multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
· Perform other general labour duties and responsibilities as required.
· Carry out manual labour duties such lifting and working with materials weighing up to 25kg.
· Capacity for manual dexterity with physical strength and stamina.
· Capability to work long hours per day in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.91-$30.89 per hour
