General Labourer-Sorter Jobs in Barrie at Waste Connections of Canada
Waste Connections of Canada has immediate openings for a full-time General Laborer-Spotter at our Barrie district.
Pay rate: $21.12 per hour
Shift timing: Monday to Friday – 9:00AM – 6:00PM

Duties:
As a general laborer/ sorter, you will be responsible for sorting recycled material off of a conveyor belt and moving material to the appropriate areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and the yard outside.
Responsibilities Include:
Spotting/Directing Trucks
Traffic Manager (moving signs and cones)
Cleaning Equipment and general site cleanup as needed
Performing other assigned duties at the landfill as needed
Requirements:
Able to work utilizing safety glasses, steel-toed work shoes, uniform and hearing protection.
Must be able to stand continually through the entire shift.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks, including drug test.
