Borderless Corp is a vertically-integrated construction technology company and licensed General Contractor based in Maple, Ontario. We design, manufacture, and install panelized wood-frame building assemblies for Missing Middle housing — the laneway homes, garden suites, multiplexes, and low-rise apartment buildings that Canadian cities are racing to deliver.
Our work is hands-on, technical, and visible. Every panel that leaves our shop becomes part of someone’s home. We are growing our manufacturing team and looking for reliable, safety-minded General Labourers who want stable, full-time work, real on-the-job learning, and a clear pathway into the construction trades.
The role
You will spend most of your week in our Maple facility, working alongside experienced carpenters and shop technicians to build wall, floor, and roof panels from shop drawings. You will also travel periodically with our installation crews to active jobsites across Toronto and the GTA to help set panels in place and finish out projects. Every day is a mix of manual work, teamwork, and learning.
What you’ll do
- Help frame, sheathe, and finish wall, floor, and roof panel assemblies in our Maple shop.
- Use hand tools and standard power tools — saws, drills, impact drivers, nail guns — safely and accurately.
- Move and stage lumber, sheathing, insulation, and other materials throughout the production line.
- Help load completed panels onto trucks for delivery to jobsites.
- Travel with the install crew to GTA jobsites to support panel offload, placement, and on-site framing.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe — and look out for the rest of the team.
- Follow our quality and safety procedures, ask good questions, and grow your skills over time.
What we’re looking for
- You show up on time, every day, ready to work.
- You take safety seriously — for yourself and for everyone around you.
- You are physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet all day.
- You can follow verbal and written instructions in English and communicate clearly with your team.
- You have reliable transportation to our Maple facility.
- You are legally eligible to work in Canada.
Nice to have (not required)
- Experience in residential construction, framing, carpentry, manufacturing, or a similar trade.
- Current WHMIS 2015 and/or Working at Heights certification.
- Forklift licence.
- Standard First Aid / CPR-C.
- Valid Class G Ontario driver’s licence.
- Ability to read framing drawings or construction blueprints.
