We are based out of beautiful Courtenay B.C. with three resorts based on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

Moutcha Bay Resort is a remote destination located 2 hours west of Campbell River on Vancouver Island by road. This position is based out of this location.
We are looking for aGeneral Labourerto join our team. As a growing company, we have many projects on the go. If you are excited to work with a small team in a beautiful remote setting, this job may be for you.
Requirements:
Proactive and detailed mindset with a commitment to excellent results.
Ability to take direction and enjoy working independently.
Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of construction.
Experience constructing and repairing.
Ability to use electrical and power tools including drills, saws, nail guns, and sanders.
Proficient use of hand and measurement tools.
A commitment to safety and in good physical health.
Reliable means of transportation and class 5v license.
Other construction trade experience including joinery, plumbing, tile laying, roofing, or equipment operating (preferred).
Duties:
Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, required at construction sites.
Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete.
Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers, and glaziers in construction activities.
Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel.
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
Installing cabinets, shelves, drywall, doors, stairs, moulding, trim, and insulation.
Adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures.
Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials.
Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
