Job Summary
Our rapidly growing company is looking to add a full time, hardworking, reliable general labourer to our team.
Barrie Regional Glass is a full-service glazing and aluminum company, and we are looking for long-term career-minded individuals. Our glass installers work on residential and commercial applications of window repair and replacement, insulated glass units, custom mirrors, glass railings, glass awnings, cabinet & tabletop glass, screens, and all glass applications to exceed our customer expectations. In addition, we are looking for a candidate who has experience with installations of curtain wall, store fronts, window walls, punched/fixed windows, entry systems, automatic doors/operators, interior glazing, glass balustrades, custom residential showers, and custom jobs. The candidate should be able to set glass doors into frame and bolts metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware onto glass doors. Knowledge or experience in this area of work is an assest but not necessary to the right candidate.
The candidate should be able to make necessary recommendations and communicate all aspects of the job needed to the office; including parts to be ordered, sizing, etc. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, responsible, honest, reliable, with a professional work ethic and positive attitude, and has a clean driving record/ license. Ability to lift 75 lbs
Certifications:
· Working at Heights Protection
· WHIMIS
· Elevated Platform
· Certified Zoom/Scissor Operator
In addition, a candidate must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Barrie Regional Glass Health and Safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment on job sites and warehouse.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
