Hours of Work
To be considered for General Labour – Rotating Shift, you must be able to work; Monday to Friday (days 7:00 am -3:00 pm, afternoons 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm). Shifts rotate weekly. Overtime may be required.
Job Responsibilities
Remove all scrap pieces of corrugate from flat boxes that have been die-cut
Re-piling – Review, and sort for defective product
Pre-folding – Work with another employee to ensure that flaps are folded prior to going to the machine
Assist machine operators to feed and/or bundling at our converting or finishing presses
General clean-up & housekeeping
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills, math skills, tape measure skills, and ability to read production layouts
Mechanical Aptitude
Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Physically capable of repetitive work, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Previous manufacturing and/or corrugated packaging experience is an asset
