Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our project sites, ensuring smooth workflow and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to team objectives in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on-site
- Support construction or maintenance activities as directed by supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Operate basic tools and machinery following safety protocols
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Help with site setup and breakdown for various projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Must be willing to work out of town for periods of time
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and supervisors
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to the railway environments
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Prior experience in labor or construction work is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
