Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to support our operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in different environments.
There is opportunity for promotion and growth at our farm. We are looking for a skilled candidate to take over components of operations- salary will reflect position responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Planting seeds, seedlings, or transplants.
Weeding to control unwanted plants.
Applying fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
Irrigating fields using various methods (e.g., drip irrigation, sprinklers).
Harvesting crops manually or using machinery.
Pruning trees, vines, or plants for optimal growth.
Operate and maintain farm equipment.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Ability to listen and take direction from the team leader
Experience:
Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting
Knowledge of farm machinery operations is a plus
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is beneficial
This position offers competitive pay based on experience and responsibilities. There is opportunity for pay-increase with increased responsibilities here.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
