Our client, a leading organization in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong payroll and core accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, fully in-office environment.

Key Responsibilities
– Process and manage payroll accurately and on schedule
– Prepare, review, and post journal entries
– Maintain and update accounting schedules
– Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
– Support month-end and year-end close processes
– Assist with general accounting duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
– 2+ years of payroll experience
– 3+ years of accounting experience, including:
– Journal entries
– Account reconciliations
– Accounting schedules and general ledger functions
– Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
– Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
