We are currently looking for a full-time Gardener for a 12-month contract to join our Maintenance department.

Duties & Responsibilities
This position is in the Plant Operations department and will be reporting to the Assistant Plant Operations Manager. The hours will vary according to operational needs of the Club. The position will include the following tasks:
Design and plan gardens on a seasonal basis and prepare the grounds, planters, and flower beds
Prune perennials and plant annuals, water, weed, and fertilize all hanging baskets
Prepare and maintain exterior grounds, including rooftop patio, Arbutus Street, and Nanton Avenue
Order and arrange delivery of all plants, hanging baskets, and gardening supplies (i.e. fertilizer)
Ensure grounds are neat and tidy and other general maintenance duties
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of previous experience in landscaping or related experience required
Diploma or certificate in Horticulture is an asset
Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
