Qualifications: Construction or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD.
- Compensation and Benefits: 60 Day training wage is approximately $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Higher training wage may be justified by previous construction experience. Our wage scale is highly tilted toward accomplishment as opposed to seniority. Your wage can move quickly if you are a leader. - Responsibilities: We work SAFE. We work all year long with plenty of opportunity for overtime. We NEVER lay off. Our job sites are in Eastern Iowa and our technicians are home every night. The technician arrives at our facility in the morning and works out of our company trucks all day. Commercial techs are two man crews. Residential techs are usually one man but sometimes two man.
Overhead Door is locally owned and operated by Deric Powell and is one of the largest and longest running door companies in the state of Iowa. 70 + years. 50 employees.
