Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated G-Class Driver/Mover to join our team. This role involves transporting, loading, and unloading goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy lifting, and professional moving. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including pre-trip inspections and proper digital driver logs.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload items using manual handling techniques, and equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, lever dollies etc…
- Assist with moving furniture or equipment for residential or commercial clients, providing courteous customer service throughout the process.
- Wrap and protect all furniture and goods being moved
- Plan and follow route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience in professional moving and driving
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely.
- Experience using tools for basic assembly/disassembly, install, and commercial tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Valid G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Clean criminal past (background check required)
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lead a team, and work within a team of 2-12
- Good communication skills and attention to detail for accurate load & unload procedures. This role is essential for ensuring smooth logistics operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
