General Overview
DOT Furniture is currently looking for Furniture Delivery Associate who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and driven towards great service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be able to handle heavy merchandise with great care and commit to providing our customers with the ultimate delivery experience. As a delivery associate for DOT Furniture means you are one of the final connections between the company and our valued customers. As an integral member of our team, you are responsible for the careful loading and unloading of delivery trucks, providing professional, efficient delivery service in the customer’s home, and working with the delivery team to ensure a positive overall customer experience. The individual will also be required to spend time in the warehouse as needed.
Who are we looking for?
Willing to provide an efficient, safe, and comfortable delivery experience for our customers.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
At least 1 year experience in home furniture/appliance delivery service
Openness, approachability, and sincerity
Willing to communicate to the customer in a professional way
Responsibilities:
Load, pack and unload items with care.
Ensure that no items are damaged while moving.
Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation
Communicate to the customer before and during the delivery
Place furniture in the requested positions
Warehouse work as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
