Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to our premises.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the facility
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
– Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, customers, and visitors with any inquiries or concerns
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
Requirements:
– Proven experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
– Strong observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks
– Familiarity with surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
– High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in security procedures is a plus
