Full Time Order Desk / Customer Service Agent Jobs in Mississauga at Mason’s Masonry Supply Ltd.

Summary of Work Environment and Work Performed:

Provide front line customer service and sales order processing in our active customer service department of our Mississauga location. This will include processing sales orders accurately and dealing with customers both in person and via the telephone and email. A high degree of product knowledge as well as problem solving skills will be required (mostly learned through on the job training and experience). Since a large part of this job involves dealing directly with customers, good communication skills and desire to provide excellent customer service are essential. The position also involves handling general enquiries from the public as well as dealing with existing customers to facilitate their requirements in an efficient manner.

The successful applicant will work together with other members of the sales team as well as customer service and shipping personnel to ensure a high level of overall service to our customers. In general, the successful applicant will ensure that customers receive professional sales assistance and service during all of their dealings with us.

Although fluency in the English language is essential for this position, any second language would also be an asset.

Specific Duties:

Daily duties:

Greet customers at the order desk and provide product and pricing information as required

Input sales orders into the computer

Handle and process payments for cash sale orders in an accurate and responsible manner

Deal with general customer enquiries and requests over the telephone and by email

Deal with order enquiries related to stock, delivery status and pricing both from customers and from our sales team

Input product quotes and estimates into our computer system and forward these to customers

Provide follow up sales assistance as required by customers

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour
