Full-Time Hotel Houseperson and Pool Attendant Jobs in Calgary at Days Inn Calgary Airport
Days Inn Calgary Airport is now hiring a Full-Time Houseperson/Pool Attendant. We are looking for someone with open availability who can work varying shifts from 8am-4:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm any weekday as well as Saturday and Sunday. Houseperson job responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas according to hotel standards. Including vacuuming carpets, emptying wastebaskets, washing windows and cleaning washrooms. Keeping walkways clear of snow and debris. Assisting hotel staff with minor maintenance issues. Assisting housekeeping, laundry and front desk staff when required. Operating housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Complying with the hotel safety and emergency procedures. Maintaining security for guests and property. Performing other tasks assigned to you such as deep cleaning, and seasonal cleaning. Cleaning assigned guest rooms according to housekeeping standards. Pool Attendant job responsibilities include general supervision of the pool area (including adherence to all safety rules), pool operations, reading of the pool spa levels, cleaning of the pool area, providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services, and general hotel jobs including support of the front desk, laundry, and maintenance departments. Complying with the hotel’s Occupational and Health Safety Guidelines and Regulations.
