As a rapidly growing Charter school, Almadina will soon support the educational needs of approximately
2,000 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in 3 Calgary campuses.

The Almadina Language Charter Academy is mandated to deliver the Alberta Program of Studies
with English language acquisition as a major outcome. In addition, the skills required of the 21 st-
century learner are developed and applied across the curricula within a visible learning ideology.
The Opportunity –
Almadina University Campus, invites you to apply for a full-time (1.0 FTE) High School Math, Science, ELA
and Social Studies teaching positions starting August 2024. Almadina University Campus is located at
3636 Research Road NW in Calgary Alberta.
Experienced candidates are preferred and the successful candidate must possess, or be eligible for an
Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate, you must have applied for
initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
Pre-employment Requirements:
The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector
Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
