As a tactical security guard in a downtown urban environment, you will play a key role in keeping patrons safe, deterring unwanted activity and reporting issues through proper channels. Successful candidates will have a calm but assertive demeanor and be able to practice excellent customer service skills at all times.
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 1000-1800
Pay Rate:
– $18. 50/Hour Starting – $20.00/Hour following successful completion of training and probationary period

What does a Security Guard in Barrie do?
Patrol the client’s site on foot, both indoors and outdoors
Prevent unwanted activity such as loitering, vandalism, drug and alcohol use
Detailed report composition and documentation for submission to the client for follow up and resolution
Remove individuals violating rules and by-laws from site
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Barrie
A valid security guard license and first aid card
Available to work flexible hours
Be eligible to work in Canada
6 months security experience or relevant education such as Police Foundations
Comfortable working in downtown, urban environment both indoors and outdoors
Previous certification in NVCI, Use of Force or both would be an asset, but not required
