Full job description
Shifts are Tuesday – Saturday
Responsibilities:
~ Handling of frozen, dry & perishable goods
~ Adhering to delivery schedules & ensuring prompt delivery of customer orders
~ Using handheld device to scan and verify all cases delivered. Back up of scanner, Conducting piece count to invoice audits to ensure delivery is completed in full
~ Loading & unloading of outbound orders. Use of a wheeler to manually deliver cases.
~ Following HOS regulations
~ Must maintain a clean truck at all times
Requirements:
~ Be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs on consistent basis
~ A professional who provides the highest level of customer service
~ A valid class 1 drivers license
~ Able to provide a clean drivers abstract
~ Provide a clear criminal record check, Child Registry, & be bondable
~ Minimum of one year driving experience preferably
~ Excellent knowledge of Calgary & the surrounding area
~ Working knowledge of log books, vehicle inspections, pre & post trip inspections and reports
