Bockmann Inc. is looking for asbestos licensed individuals to join our team. We are currently expanding our asbestos division. We are willing to train motivated individuals looking for a career in environmental remediation.
Job Description
Removes asbestos containing materials following safety and asbestos regulations. This includes preparing containment area with portable air evacuation and filtration systems, and properly disposing of waste
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally and wear a respirator
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Attention to details and able to follow all safety requirements
- Experience with basic hand tools (construction related)
- Must be able to travel occasionally
- Must be able to attend and pass a 4 or 5 day asbestos training class and pre-placement physical (for new licensees)
Environmental Working Conditions
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors in hot and cold environments.
- Exposure to all types of terrain
Physical Requirements
- Standing
- Walking
- Climbing, stooping and bending
- Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
- Able to wear a respirator and other personal protection equipment
