We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in Java and solid frontend experience in Angular to join our business banking engineering team. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting scalable applications while contributing to ongoing cloud migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular
- Build and enhance backend services using Spring Boot and related frameworks
- Develop responsive and maintainable frontend components using Angular
- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage database interactions using SQL Server
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and defect resolution across the application stack
- Collaborate within Agile pods for backlog refinement, sprint execution, and cross-team dependencies
- Contribute to system improvements, performance optimization, and architectural enhancements
- Support cloud migration efforts and ensure applications align with cloud-native principles
Must Have:
- Experience in Java backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot (core functionalities)
- Proficiency in Hibernate (ORM) and database interaction
- Strong experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures)
- Experience in Angular (Angular 9+ is a plus)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or MQ.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but other cloud experience is acceptable)
- Understanding of cloud-native concepts and application migration
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in banking or financial services domain
- Deep understanding of application architecture and system design
